About the Guest House

Arakura Guest House, located near the Chureito Pagoda at the foot of Mount Fuji in Fujiyoshida City,
is an exclusive, whole-house rental accommodation right in front of Shimo-Yoshida Station. We offer clean, safe, and secure stays.
The entire second floor can be reserved exclusively for your use,
ensuring ample private space for families with young children or groups of friends traveling together.
This is a lodging facility offering room-only stays. Please note that we do not provide services like hotels or traditional inns.

At night, a quiet, completely private space
On the first floor of the building, “Arakura Shokudo” operates during the day,
but closes at 5:00 PM. After cleanup and closing procedures are complete,
the entire building becomes a private space exclusively for our guests.
After closing, it becomes a private space.
We do not offer hotel or ryokan-style services,
but we aim to provide a warm and welcoming stay
where you can relax as if you were at home.
Amenities and Facilities
Important Notes (Please be sure to check before making a reservation)
- The toilet and washbasin on the first floor are reserved exclusively for overnight guests, even during restaurant hours (until 5:00 PM).
- To help you rest comfortably after a long day of travel, we intentionally use firm mattresses. If you prefer a softer mattress, you may find them firmer than you are used to. We appreciate your understanding.
- A washing machine and dryer are available for an additional fee, making the property suitable for longer stays.
- Please note that there is no kitchen, but convenience stores and drugstores are located nearby.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building. If smoking is found to have occurred indoors, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Access/Location
This guesthouse is located right in front of Shimo-Yoshida Station on the Fujikyu Railway Line.
It's across the station rotary, so it's super convenient for those arriving by train!

- 5-minute walk to the entrance of the Chureitou Pagoda (Arakurayama Sengen Park)
- 20-minute walk to the scenic viewpoint
→ Perfect for morning sightseeing! The view of Mount Fuji and the five-story pagoda bathed in the morning glow is a must-see.
How to Spend Your Time in Arakura
- We do not offer inn-style hospitality or have permanent staff like a hotel.
Our theme is “stay as if you were living here”—please relax and feel at home. - A cafeteria is available on-site, so meals are available until evening.
We also offer menus featuring local ingredients, so please give them a try.
Things to Know Before Your Stay
Our guesthouse is a small, intimate lodging where we maintain close relationships with our guests.
Therefore, we kindly ask that you understand the following points before making your reservation.
- There are no other guests, so you can relax in a private space.
- Check-in and check-out procedures will be handled in a simplified manner.
- Staff are not permanently stationed on-site, but an emergency contact system is in place.
